About us – Our Next Trip

Hello! We are Nare & Emill and this is our blog, Our Next Trip. We are so excited to share this very special part of our lives you. We have been in a Long Distance Relationship for nearly 4 years and are always in the process of planning out next trip and seeing where our love takes us. We are fascinated by cultural diversity and the endless destinations Mother Earth has to offer. Traveling has been out outlet of connection, it is how our love began and how we plan to spend the rest of our lives. Instead of looking forward to settle down in one place we are looking forward to a long adventure seeking all the wonders of the world!

How we met:

In the summer of 2014, Nare was traveling England with her Mother when they were given the suggestion to visit Germany by her mothers best friend (Emill’s Aunt). Upon arriving in Germany they ended up visiting Emill’s Family and staying with them for 8 days. In that time, Nare and Emill fell madly in love with each other and though they left each other not know when and where they would meet again, they knew in their hearts this was meant to be. It must have been serendipity that brought us together.

When it’s time for souls to meet, there’s nothing on earth that can prevent them from meeting, no matter where each may be located.

We spent nearly 3.5 years in a Long Distance Relationship, spending anywhere from 3-8 months apart! Finally, in the winter of 2017 we tied the knot in Hamburg, Germany followed by a “family moon” in Bellagio, Italy. Though we spent time apart after our wedding, our time apart has greatly shorted with plans of traveling the world 24/7 in the near future! Due to visa issues, Emill is unable to enter the USA, so we are getting married across the world, sharing tips about wedding traditions across the world as well as our own story, with the aim of finishing our #weddingworldtour in AMERICA! (Fingers-crossed).

We aim to inspire those in a long distance relationship (or not) to stay strong because love ALWAYS find a way! From our history of LDR’s, traveling on a budget and finally tying the knot, we want to help inspire your next destination, your next wedding and guide your through the difficulties you may face along the way!
